What happened I lost that driver CD of LG in the huss fuss at the seller shop itself. I brought a Acer ultra slim laptop with external LG dvd writer to load OS if required from its CD cause it came with linux. So what am I doing wrong guys? Any help / Advice will be great. no movement in status bar and if switched to another channel. I thought maybe the software I'm getting from net might be corrupted, so I plugged it to my LAN Connection, it detected a software update straight away, this time .x. I switched it off by pulling it the power cable, put it back in and tried again, this time I didnt switch the channel, it remained on the update screen with status bar (which didnt move) for nearly half an hour and nothing happened, I switched to the other channel, after sometime came back same thing, No Signal on my tele and BLuray player shows UPGrA and still nothing. After about nearly 30-40 mins I moved back to the bluray player and I see NO SIGNAL on my screen as if the player has been shutdown BUT the display on the player still shows "UPGrA" written on it. which I'm guessing means that it's upgrading. The display on the player shows the words "UPGrA". So I thought I'll give it a little more time so I switched to cable and started watching tele. I kept staring at it for like 4-5 minutes and it didn't even move a centimeter. I downloaded it and copied to my USB, plugged it in and it started updating but the big status bar didnt move at all. Just today decided to check for software update and found one, my current version is BD5.84.x.x and the firmware I found online is .x. I have been using it as a simple player solely for DVDs and BluRay. Well I bought my LG BD550 BluRay player about a couple of years back.

This is my first time here and I hope I will be able to get some answers.
